Study room is the most important place for the successful career of a child. So the layout of the study room is very crucial for his educational advancements. Therefore study room should be well ventilated and lighted. It should also be a place without noise where the student gets full concentration while studying. In order to get full benefits of the efforts, the room for studies should be placed in North-East corner of the house being the most energetic place. This corner is the repository of positive energy and the energies enter into house from this corner only. Therefore there are few things to follow with respect to a study room;
- The study room should be located either in North, North-East or East direction of the house,
- The face should be preferably in the East, North-East or North direction while studying,
- The windows should have clean and transparent glasses as the energy coming into the room should not get distorted or scattered otherwise the child will get confused during studies,
- Posters of inspirational persons should be there on the walls,
- One should study while leaving sufficient open space in the North, North-East and East,
- Keeping a globe on the table will also inspire the child to study everything in details resulting in complete control over the topic,
- Putting a crystal ball on the table also facilitates the child to concentrate on the subject and absorbs the negativity of the study room,
- Keeping a wall mounted water fountain on the North-Eastern wall also makes the student enthusiastic about learning.
However there are certain precautions which should be taken during studies
- Face should not be in the South or West as it could result in lack of concentration and the efforts will go in vain,
- Keeping horrible posters or/and pictures depicting violence will unnecessarily make the children irritable and at times will show temper tantrums thereby adversely affecting his studies,
But the location of study room anywhere other than the above mentioned places in the house can significantly alter the effects on the child;
- If the study room is in the North-West corner of the house then the child will become restless and lose his concentration significantly.
- Location of study room in the West direction will have the effect of planet Saturn. It will make the child slow in learning.
- Location of study room in the South-West corneris the worst among all as it will be under the influence of Rahu which will distract the child from studies. Child studying in this corner will simply pretend to be studying but with no output,
- Similarly study room in the South direction will also have no significant positive impact on his studies,
- Location of study room in the South-East direction will make the child irritable and short tempered and even he will become naughtier because of the effect of Fire element in this corner.
After going through the possible effects of study rooms located in different directions of the house it can be well understood that the best place for the study room is North, North-East or East direction. One more interesting point to be noted is that the effects will be similar in case child studies facing the above mentioned directions as well. So not only the location of study room is important but the direction of face while studying is equally important for achieving the best results.
