  • Our Vaastu (Home) is like a castle which not only protects us from thefts and robberies but also protects us from ill reputes, litigations, diseases and sorrow etc.
  • SWAASTIK and OM are auspicious symbols having very high bio-cosmic energy levels. So we should take utmost precautions while using them in the house. Although a complete SWASTIKA or OM properly sketched anywhere is sufficient to ward off evil effects of Vaastu defects; however it should not be used at dirty places. It should neither be written on the floor at the entry point of the house nor on the walls of kitchen or toilet.
  • Creaking doors in the house create multiple problems. Fear of unknown and domestic quarrels are few effects. Always keep the doors in good conditions by way of lubricating the joints at regular intervals..
  • Leaking water taps in South, South-West and West cause excessive expenditures on health related problems. They should be repaired immediately.
  • Defective electronic gadgets, stopped wall clock and weak battery in the vehicle cause problems related to servants and maids.
  • Dark colored and heavy curtains are good for South and West directions whereas light colored curtains are preferable in North and East directions.
  • If the entry of the positive energy from North-East corner is obstructed due to electric pole, tree, or apartment, it will adversely affect the career prospects of the owner. A high powered bulb or any light facing the house from North-East direction will significantly reduce the ill effects.
  • Permanent light in North-East corner inside and outside the house keeps the house always energized with divine blessings. Similarly a bulb throwing bright light away from the house in South-West corner will weaken Rahu effects of the house.
  • Presence of termites, reptiles, red ants, cobwebs etc. in the house signifies the presence of Geopathic stress zone which should be cleared with the use of Geopathic stress clearance devices such as pyramids, crystals, copper wires as well as remote Geopathic stress removal techniques etc.
  • Mobile phones, Television, electric holders without bulb and all other functional electronic equipments in the house generate a cobweb of electromagnetic radiations in the room thereby creating electro smog. It emits positive ions and disturbs Alpha region of the brain causing uneasiness and restlessness while sleeping. So it is always advisable to turn all these equipments off before sleeping.
  • Permanent structures in South-West representing Rahu such as Stairs and toilets according to Vaastu principles are good and beneficial whereas external symbols of Rahu such as termites, snakes, cobwebs, scorpions, bees in the house are equally harmful and inauspicious.
  • Repairs and white washing of the house should be done at regular intervals so as to eliminate any such Vaastu defect created due to wear and tear effects.
  • It’s not advisable to put the pictures of Gods and Goddesses on the walls in each room as it is against Symbolic Vaastu shastra. Even pictures of God symbolize Jupiter and it has the same effect as that of a real Puja room. Therefore, depending upon the location of those pictures in a house, the respective effects of Puja room will be witnessed by the occupants. At best these can be put in North, East and North-East of the entire house which is in any way beneficial as per Vaastu principles.
  • Posters and pictures depicting violence, hatred, sorrow or mysteries bring similar emotions in the family, so it is advisable to avoid such posters in the house. Pictures of joyful activities, cheerfulness, and inspirational quotes are always good in the house. They invite positive energies into the house.
  • Cracks in the outer walls of the house or cracks in the walls inside the house have serious effects on the health of the family members depending upon the location of those cracks.
  • Fused bulbs and tube lights outside or inside the house are also capable to invite inauspicious results. Generally it so happens that people replace a fused bulb with a bulb already fitted at any other place of the house. It simply creates another defect corresponding to that particular place. So it is always advisable to replace fused bulb with a new one.
  • Even the corrosion of plaster from the walls or dampness in the walls is also a serious defect in Vaastu terms. It’s incidence in different directions has corresponding effects on health and prosperity.
  • Home (Vaastu) is like a concave mirror in real life. You get the magnified images of the objects which you place before it;
  • It is not just a concrete structure rather it is a living organism;
  • You should be and remain thankful to your home for providing you shelter;
