Water source:
Water source in the factory or house is one of the most essential components. Therefore its location has to be ascertained according to Vaastu principles. Water signifies planet moon as per astrology and the placement should be made in conformity with the appropriate planetary combinations as well. Because of the prevalence of Ultra violet region in the North-East corner of the plot, water body is most preferred in this corner only. Logic behind keeping water source in this direction can be given by way of acknowledging established Vaastu prescription of this corner as being the lowest area. The phrase water seeks its own level is pointer to this fact that keeping water source in this direction signifies it to be the lowest region. However, North-East corner is preferred direction for underground water source only and not for overhead water tank. The overhead water source or water tank should be placed in South-West corner of the factory on the roof. In this context, it is important to mention here that even the outlet of used water should also be from the North-East corner itself. East and North directions are also favorable for the outlet of used water in the factory as per Vaastu principles.

Although any water body either tube well or boring or pond is prescribed in this corner but it should not be exactly in the corner but in either side of the triangle formed by the lines connecting South-West of the plot to North-East and South-West of the factory to North-East, which is also known as Kona Sutra and this should be followed.
Water source in North-East corner brings all sorts of comforts and luxuries to the factory owner. It results in success for the manufacturing units and popularity of their products.
Apart from North-East corner, North and East directions are also good for the water source as North placement will bring wealth and East placement will make him successful. But any other direction or corner is not suitable for water source which has been explained below.
Water source in South-East corner means imposition of Water element in the Fire zone. It will result in evaporation of water and dominance of Fire element in the factory. Resultant effect will be disastrous for the well being of the factory in terms of labor disputes. Internal quarrel and health problems of laborers will be prominently reflected in this condition. The effect will be aggravated if the water body is under the staircase in this corner resulting even in the imprisonment of the owner on flimsy grounds. This result will be due to the inauspicious combination of Venus, Rahu and Moon.
South placement of water source signifies the depth in South direction. We know that South direction is sink direction where Jaivik Urja gets depleted in case of depth. That is the reason for keeping it at high level. This has very serious implications for the wealth and profits of the industry. Most of the profits earned will get wasted. It will also have a negative effect on the social prestige of the owner.
The water source in South-West corner of the factory is the most fatal defect as far as the placement of water source is concerned. It will have all the negative effects which one can imagine ranging from failures, death of the master and disrepute to owner etc. So this placement should be avoided at any cost. In astrological sense it represents the most inauspicious combination of Rahu with Moon, which forms Grahan Yoga for the industry. It will eclipse all the virtues of a good industry. This corner is a junction point of both the sink directions such as Jaivik Urja and Pranik Urja.
Water source in the West direction is another bad placement for it. West being the direction for planet Saturn and its combination with Moon will result in excessive expenditure and undue delay in recovery of dues. It is also a direction for social prestige, so the water body in this area will eventually dilute the prestige of the owner.
Water source in North-West though placed in the area of Moon itself, will invite problems related to rivals and well wishers. Otherwise it is not a very bad placement for the water source.
It should be noted that water body includes all forms of water sources like tube well, pond, municipality water pipelines, rivers and even posters and paintings depicting rivers, fountains, and ocean can also be used in North East corner of the office in the factory as a defect removal object or Vaastu catalysts for the same purpose.
Raw Materials:
Raw materials are the backbones of any industrial unit. Keeping them at the place near the manufacturing place is always advisable because of practical reasons. Therefore raw materials should be kept near the boilers i.e. the main focal place for any manufacturing activity which is better preferable near the gate avoiding North-East corner. This is so because of keeping North-East corner without any heavy loads.
Finished Goods:
Basic purpose of the factory owner after manufacturing goods is to sell them at a higher price thereby making profits without any undue delay and stagnation of finished goods. Therefore the finished goods in the factory should be kept in the North-West corner of the factory premises. This is the area dominated by the Air element which signifies circulation. So anything if kept in this corner will speedily change its place which mean s quick disposal. So if other Vaastu principles are followed then the finished goods will definitely bring high profits to the owner.
Generators and boilers:
Generators and boilers in a factory are very essential components. Therefore being the symbols of heat they should be placed in the South-East corner of the factory. Placing them in the South-East corner will alleviate several issues related to governmental sides like labor laws violations, tax matters and thereby will enhance the productivity and profits of the unit.
Walls of the factory Campus:
For the purposes of retaining positive energy inside the factory campus, the boundary walls should be constructed by following the standard Vaastu principles. Therefore the Southern and Western walls should be constructed thicker and higher as compared to North and East walls. Even there is an order of height and thickness of walls among these four walls as well. The Eastern wall should be lowest and thinnest followed by the Northern wall which should be lower and thinner than the Western wall and the South wall should be highest and thickest among all. This will enable the factory owner to keep all outside disturbances away from the factory and the productivity and sales will increase.
